i have a 1610d what do i need to do in order to change fuel filter ie bleed etc

When running a diesel out of fuel or when changing the filter air gets in the fuel system & must be bled. On most Japanese tractors there are bleed screws on the fuel filter assembly & the injector pump. Start at the fuel tank & work towards the injector pump.. Crack open each screw enough for fuel to come out . Close when no more air bubbles appear. On many tractors these are 10mm hex heads with Phillips slots. On some newer models there are plungers to push instead of screws. Once these points have been bled the tractor is ready to start. For more useful information go to the link provided. ....
